Day 40 - Tuesday June 27/17
A wonderful day today. Nancy and Michael spent the morning at the trailer preparing for meeting up with family from Scotland who just happen to be visiting in this same part of Canada (they are staying in Canmore) when we are: Nancy’s cousin Hilary Lawson and her husband John Watt, and their son Cal and his partner Scott (we did know ahead of time, this past spring, that they were coming this way, and arranged to get together). We all went on the free shuttle bus to Lake Louise, where we did some walking and hiking, and then came back to the trailer where we tried to provide a ‘truly Canadian’ camping experience with bbq’d burgers & dogs, and salads, and butter tarts for dessert. Notice the mixing of the glacial outflow with the blue green colour Lake Louise is known for. |

Just to let you know--the second last photo (the one labelled "camping supper") does not show up--there's just a blank square.
